Our Mission

Creating a world where diabetes no longer limits dreams or defines lives.

Our Mission Statement

“To support diabetes research, education, and community programs that improve the lives of those affected by diabetes, while honoring the memory and spirit of Sean Peters through compassionate action and unwavering hope.”

Why This Matters

Every 17 seconds, someone in the United States is diagnosed with diabetes. For families receiving this diagnosis, especially parents of young children, the world can suddenly feel overwhelming and uncertain.

We exist to provide hope, resources, and community to these families while advancing research toward better treatments and ultimately a cure. Our mission is deeply personal – it's rooted in Sean's experience and his family's journey with Type 1 diabetes.

Through our work, we ensure that no family faces diabetes alone, and that every person affected by this condition has access to the support, education, and resources they need to thrive.

By the Numbers
